In 2000 I had my first massage with Annie. It was the beginning of an experience that has changed my life. I had a history of muscle spasms in my back and neck from stress that had required a weekly appointment with a chiropractor for many years. I even, at times, wore a neck brace and was on a muscle relaxer. Annie addressed the muscle issues and I felt better immediately. I cancelled the chiropractor appointments and began seeing her once a week.
Later I had a diagnosis of ovarian cancer (now resolved), and with my oncologist's permission, I continued my sessions with Annie. We would meet in her wonderful massage room, giving my aches and pains to her for one memorable hour. I described it as putting Humpty Dumpty together again. She seems to know where my issues are before I need to tell her. The deep tissue massage and the massage cupping worked on the fascia and lymph issues and this has improved areas that now are without any pain.
This in now the 13th year with Annie and I'm grateful for every meeting. The drive up to her home is remarkable, the beauty of the lane and then the vast view of the countryside, the sound of the wind in the pine tree and the soft calling of the doves make each visit one to remember. Peace abounds.
